For one-at Bama, okay but Ettling didn't have anytime to do anything and the Offensive line was dominated. No matter who the OC is-nothing will work if you can't win at least SOME of the battle in the trenches. Against Florida-LSU moved the ball up and down the field. In the end, it was player mistakes and lack of execution inside the 10 yd line that caused that. All Ensminger proved was he made the offense 10X better!!

People have been running all over this board for months saying we should hire O because the offense was setting records --- then they say we need an elite OC to help O out, completely forgetting that it was Ensminger, not O, who was responsible for those records.
And, he's one of us! He played for LSU! Pay the man!

It's like some fans can't be honest and about happened offensively after the change AND want a different OC. If it's not Kiffin or Canada, I would be cool with SE with a plan to promote Craig in a year or two.

Are you actually saying you're OK with us firing the winningest coach in school history, who could never field a competent offense, just to promote the DL coach and TE coach to HC and OC?

Ardent supporters of Orgeron feel their position has been severely weakened by O's abject inability to land Kiffin. They should: Orgeron is failing in his first real test as hc. Failing. He made the offense look 10X better against bad competition just like Miles and Cameron did last year! Don't you remember Fournette during that 7-0 start? He was setting records left and right, then the real SEC schedule started and suddenly Miles is on the hot seat again.
I don't know why this year's offensive explosion is different than last years, or some of you people really need to check your memories.

Yeah-lets look at those SEC teams from last year....The real SEC schedule....Bama-dominated us last year-this year-same..okay...Ole Miss-dominated us last year-this year-we kicked their arse on both sides...Arkansas-last year, they completely destroyed us....this year, fricking hog-tied them in their own pig-pen. That's why this years offensive explosion as you put it was very much different except for Bama...but then again-that's Bama!!
