Just going off his resume he was OC/QB coach at Baylor for 2015-2016, one of his QB's being Jarrett Stidham. Honestly not overly impressed with Stidham but I'm just wondering how much actual experience Kendal has developing QB's and hoping someone knows more about the subject. TIA

Just look at the success of that offense. That’s all you need to know.

How is this relevant to being OC at LSU?

Bryce Petty who currently starts for the NY Jets, or he started some games during the season.

RG3

I forgot the guy who came after RG3, but he played pretty well.

Has QB development not been an issue for the past decade? Are we not looking for an OC that can both develop and playcall? Or are we just looking for someone that'll call good plays and hope the QB can make the throws? Are you seriously asking this or is there a secret shadow staff QB coach that we have that I'm unaware of.

I know the QBs at Baylor while he was there, just wanted to know if anybody knows just how responsible he was for their development since he was only listed as QB coach for 2015 and 2016.

Better than we've had for years. That's all we need to know lol. And he's a young guy so he will connect with the players better than CC did. That's a plus. And he would bring all those Texas connections for recruiting. I would absolutely love the hire.

I agree, just wanted to make sure his dad wasn't the one doing the majority of the development during that time.

Fact is Canada has a better QB track record.

Petty and RG3 have been disasters in the NFL.

What does what they did in the NFL have anything to do with how he developed them in college? RG3 was a Heisman winner and Petty was one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in college football when he was at Baylor. Briles has had more success with quarterbacks in college if you ask me.

This is the problem with this fan base... WHO THE HECK CARES if they weren't good in the NFL? Last time I checked they don't hand the championship to the team with the most and best NFL players. I'd rather have better college players that produce IN COLLEGE and lead this team to greatness. RG3 has a Heisman trophy in his possession, And Petty was highly regarded coming out of college. Know how many QB's we have on NFL rosters? Exactly. Briles is far superior at QB development than any coach we've had since Jimbo.

Briles has a much better track record of QB success in college. I couldn’t care less what they do in the NFL but if those are the two guys he’s hanging his hat on

Also, want to point this out. Briles recently followed Terrace Marshall on Twitter.

It can't be any worse than ours.

Welp, that confirms what I was thinking the entire time. Marshall was told Briles was the next OC and that's why the Canada situation didn't scare him away. We gained a ton of momentum with Jamarr Chase out of nowhere as well.

It's happening.
