What would be our plan for our new coach who has bowl games?

Whether it is Riley, Napier, Kiffin, Franklin, or whoever?
Are they expected to skip their bowl games and get to LSU right away? Recruiting is important. Would SW mandate that?

Seems most skip the bowl game and move onto recruiting especially with December signing date

Depends on if they’re in the playoffs or not

so tell me if im wrong.
early signing period is Dec 15th. However, the season could drag into January.
Thats a big deal, because if Oklahoma is in the playoff there is probably no way that Riley walks away from that. Could that have a big influence on SW's decision. The top recruits will be gone by that point.

We don't have a game plan. I'm sure SW has it covered, this isn't his first rodeo.

You obviously don't get how this works. A team's season doesn't end until the bowl game is played. You don't ask a coach to leave their team before then.

LSU would want to announce before a bowl game but whether he coached it or not would probably be the former school's call.

Y'all remember the Miles to Michigan mess? After ESPN broke the story on the eve of the SEC Championship game the deal was fricked because Michigan couldn't take a guy who would walk out on his team in that situation. I don't think a playoff-off bound coach is jumping ship and personally I wouldn't want him if he did. But enough money makes anything possible.
