I'm starting to think Nebraska is one of those football graveyard jobs. Sot of like U of Texas, except at least Texas is in a state loaded with recruits. As a coach I'd be very leery of that job.

What? Are you saying Frost built UCF?

Did he not? I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on the UCF program, but I certainly thought Frost had a lot to do with them getting to national prominence and NY6 bowl games.

If NU pulls this off, give Frost a raise.

George O’Leary deserves a lot of credit. He won a lot of games at UCF, and helped build that program. He oversaw a transition from the MAC, to C-USA, to the AAC. His pinnacle was a Top 10 finish and a Fiesta Bowl victory.

Then UCF quickly fell off, and Frost was hired a couple of seasons later.

Frost was only at UCF for 2 seasons, but he was undefeated in his second season, and then left for the Nebraska job. Frost did a good job turning around UCF, but O’Leary had built a good program before things fell apart in 2015.

Pulling for the upset!

Great stadium atmosphere and a lot of history there. It’s a shame what they’ve become.

Hire a triple option coach

They should. GT gave people problems in the ACC. Get PJ to come out of retirement.

Yet another example of a young coach running roughshod all over a mid-major schedule, only to get to a big program and fall flat.

Send Luke Fickell a blank check and tell him that money for assistants won’t be an issue

Yeah great career move. “Hey Luke, we just killed the career of one rising star. Now you come here, it’ll be different. Totally not career suicide.”

And as usual, it's a program that no one is going to win with. Trying to equate this to LSU and Napier is asinine.

That's actually not their problem. They average a top 25 recruiting ranking, which is pretty damn good when stacked up to the rest of the big 10 west. If wisky and Iowa can win 8-10 games annually, so can Nebraska, they just need a coach

And Frost has done pretty good with the transfer portal.

Adrian Martinez just isnt a winner.

Needs to move on.
