Assuming Aranda's deal is legit, our only likely options would be Campbell or BOB.

Would it be worth giving up on 2022 to avoid being stuck with BOB? I'm not sure which is more likely to destroy our program.

This is the downside of going so big and having to wait so long. We may be left standing in the game of musical chairs.

Or, will Napier literally drag UF along until LSU officially hires someone?

I can easily see him backing out if the make playoffs or we back out if they make playoffs.

Napier is staying at UL then replacing Saban in 2024/25.

If that happens, Woodward's competetence would have to be called into question.

You think it’s Riley and if it isn’t we have to fall back. What if it is not Riley, which it isn’t and Scott has a bigger fish.

There is really only one bigger fish than Riley and he's 70

Petersen and Meyer are arguably bigger fish than Riley. Meyer for sure. But that's pretty much it

At this point, f Meyer. He's probably one of the top 5-7 GOAT coaches in CFB history but he's checked out.

The only thing we could hope for with Meyer is that he sticks around 3-4 years and identifies/cultivates the next Ryan Day

Can't get too excited/emotional. Need to always evaluate contingency plans based on negative externalities. We get a little bit of hope and balance it with a little bit of negativity-anxiety.

He always checks out. But before he does he gives you a hell of a ride.
