If you retain him, but not put him in any position to hire the next coach, he can't be responsible when the hire goes south in 3-4 years......and if there is a significant turnover of BOS....then what? We just turn the whole process over to a bunch of people from the outside who get overly emotive when LSU does not make at least the Semi's every year......and God forbid, have a 3-4 loss season or two.

Can we blame Landry?
Maybe Shaq?
Chicken Man?
What about Bollinger, or Grigsby?

Where is their accountability for making bad hires? Can't just fire Landry.

What is the role of Austin Thomas? He should be leading this coaching search.

Hold on now, our guy brought a handicapped, diabetic Tiger to the stadium......Lee is more than a couple rungs above.

Yeah if you try and hire a head coach before a President and 'likely' AD that seems like it could go sideways. You would have a coach that isn't the AD's 'guy'. You would also think that the President should be somewhat involved with the hiring.

I’m not sure why exactly he would leave, but it’s believed that Georgia’s athletic director (LSU alum) is going to be woodward’s repalcement.
