I think Miles could quiet a lot of idiots with a stellar OC hire.
But he could also turn a lot of reasonable people into crazies by doing nothing.

all seem worse than Les
Just fire Gary and let's quit fricking around

Miss him when he's gone
No matter how much you hate him at times

you guys could do alot worse than Miles.
I really strongly believe the criticism of Miles is ridiculous. I mean seriously what does the guy have to do to please so of you?
If he fires his OC and brings in a good one you guys are golden.

I think RR will be gone by the end of the day.

Sure, he has shown the ability to turn a program around, but he hasn't shown that he can build and maintain a program.
the trend that is working pretty often is the "build and run" coach as opposed to the "build and maintain" coach

He hired Chavis and got rid of the co-DC.

He can start by not eating grass during nationally televised games

There are going to be posters like Llamma who will always hate Miles, regardless.
I wouldn't like any of those hires, and I'd hate Leach and Tubberville. Malzahn would be ok with me, but not a slam dunk.
Are any of those realistic? And why does everyone like Sarkisian all of a sudden? What did he do this year?
I do like Fitzgerald though. Not sure how much of an upgrade, if any, it would be from Miles.
Again, not realistic. Look at who Florida and Miami had to hire. It will be interesting to see who Michigan ends up with if they fire RR.

Off the top of my head:
Malzahn
Leach
Tubberville

Missed out on Charlie Weiss
Man, that would have been a great OC hire

Honestly, if I'm running Michigan's athletics, I want Miles. Look at the state of Big Ten football right now. Bring in a guy winning ten games a year, on average, in the SEC? And... He's a Michigan man?
Slam dunk!
Slam dunk!

my first 2 calls would have to be Peterson at Boise, and Patterson at TCU. They both may feel like the ceiling has been reached and only one way to go at those schools, down.

Not so much. All we need is another insufferable ego creating problems on the coaching staff. Maybe he was a team player at the NFL level, but I'm betting Muschamp puts up with him for at most 2 seasons before dumping him for thinking he knows more than the Head Coach.

not patterson...if his team as good as it is now in 2 years, then he'll be in the bcs title game.
