vs top 10?
Legit question. I think there is some misinformation on the rant that he’s 11-24 vs top 25 while at Ole Miss, but his overall record is 51-19
I think 11-24 is his career record vs top 25

For the record, I’m all for Kiffin at LSU. Just asking for accurate information

Which is damn good especially if you consider in 2020 what took place

At Ole Miss that’s pretty good

I just confirmed that he's 10-10 against ranked teams in general. Kelly was 5-11 and 3-6 against top ten teams.

What’s the net W / L differential with Lane vs top 25 opponents at OM to their historical performance?
They’re expected to win against top 10 teams now…

Why? They've been spending more than LSU on resources up until this year. Do you think it's a coincidence Lane despite being on the tongue for everyone as a possible candidate every year has never left Ole Miss? The truth is he has all the resources he wants there. They're paying him and have given him everything he wants resource wise. He's not losing due to lack of resources. This board has a weird mentality thinking Ole Miss is still a doormat from 10 years ago with all their old money surrounding Oxford. They were so far ahead of LSU on NIL LSU had to poach their staff.
He's not leaving Ole Miss. They'll match whatever LSU gives and he'll use LSU as leverage. LSU had 1 great season in 2019 and 9 other mediocre to bad seasons the past decade. Ole Miss might actually have more consistent success lately. Why leave what you built and are close to hitting the objective? Success wise lately LSU is a mid-tier SEC program that has a lot of money to toss around with potential to be a juggernaut.
With what I said above, Kiffin has actually underachieved for what Ole Miss has given him. Remember they had the second highest paid roster last year behind Ohio State and didn't sniff the playoffs. He's not as good as this board makes him out to be. Brilliant OC but gets in trouble a lot like a younger but slightly better Brian Kelly. That said, I wouldn't mind the move and think it's worth the risk because he has shown maturity and he's still young so he can get better too. He has bounced around A LOT OF HC jobs when he was younger. He hasn't actually done anything anywhere as HC other than being one of the best OCs in NCAA.

Your entire post is wrong.
They spent less than 1/2 of what LSU did on NIL.
There football budget and resources are not on LSU level.
Their roster is ranked in the 20’s and is consistently there. LSU roster has never left the top 10 since Saban arrived.
The programs are night and day difference. Kiffin is winning with far less than he would have at LSU.
He’s overachieving.
Do some homework.
