What if big Woodys list isn’t like ours?

We spend all day throwing these names around that WE think are logical… what if he’s vetted many candidates through this whole process that we haven’t even mentioned? Does he have to hire a big name, a proven winner, from a big school?
Or could it be someone who’s not a big name, who is young, innovative, at a smaller school?
Would the fans melt due to it not being a household name? Honestly, I probably would. Lol

LSU isn’t an OJT job. It’s a destination job for a coach with a proven track record against legit competition now.

So if it’s a small school hire, why isn’t it announced now? Unless you mean Fickell. He would be the only one where that makes sense

He’s my number one… but I also had, at some point in the past, Herman, Jimbo, and Mullen in this same category. Something seems different about him, but he could flop too. Some people do better with no expectations, lesser talent that they can develop over time, no divas, no pressure, etc.

There’s not too many bigger than him… maybe in size… but coaching and championships.. not many. And of those guys, none are realistic.

This coaching board is the major reason behind any leaks, melts, insider info etc. Woody hasn’t said anything, fake insiders stir up drama, media visits this website, names get thrown out, rumors start, rumors become facts, and shite gets overblown.
Maybe it’s Aranda and always has been. Riley may have never been offered. Maybe Riley’s agent leaked the LSU offer. Maybe Woody has offered 3 coaches and they all said no.
Nobody knows anything and yet every day we are running with “facts, leaks, and done deals”

If that were true, why wouldn't the announcement have been made?? We are starting to see well known names fall off the table; at this point, further delays will only cause the incoming coach to lose out on this recruiting class and no telling how long to set up his staff. I want to believe Woody, but I am starting to lose faith. I call b.s. on those that think someone already has a contract. It just appears we got played by Riley and now the clock is ticking, we are starting to get desperate...
