We'll be just fine without O. He is a great recruiter but it's not like recruiting is the weak link in our chain. We have players. We're getting more players (without him). And we will continue to get great talent.

The Kiffins schooled Les in the art of closing a deal and slamming it shut, though.
If $900k is around the mark, there was no "schooling" - just plain economics. No way that O is worth that much to the LSU program. For Kiffin, he just might be.

Well said. Not surprising from an admirer of C.S. Lewis.

A "Very Good" recruiter for sure, but this is a stretch!

This would not have been the start Miles needed with Chavis. How do you hire a DC, then pay a DL coach more and tell them to work together.
For the 2nd time in 2 opportunities, Orgeron left LSU at the alter. I hope I never have to read again about how much he and his kids love Louisiana.

Please explain this one to me? I have never heard of Ed getting into any trouble any where he as coached.

they lost another good recruiter that would help keep a 'fence around the state' and a fiery sideline motivator which LSU desperately needed this season..
but F that yawyaw MFer and that homo agent of his too..
The Tenn/LSU matchups will just have me more pumped up to watch than I ever was before now. I hope we make a habit of skulldrubbing those MFers.

I agree with you guys. He is a good coach and a good recruiter. There are plenty of these coaches around. If he wanted to be here he would have come no matter what money was being offered. So i say if he did not come over, he obviously did not want to be here. Lets all move on and focus on the positives next year will bring. We want a coach that wants to be from the get go and not a coach that was wishy washy from the get go.
