What happened with Riley?

Why,are people so obsessed with Riley? He runs a bullshite offense in a bullshite league and doesn't even consistently run the ball with one of the better tandems in CFB. his offenses choke in big games.

OU ran almost 200 more plays than LSU for one
Two if fournette stays moderately healthy we have two thousand yard backs also
Three, that offense DISAPPEARS in big games consistently and benefits from weak assume big 12 defenses. if that running game is so good why the frick did DeDE and Mayfield get the nod for NY?

He just has a kid with his wife and pulled himself from contention for be Houston job early in the process once OU gave him a raise.

Riley although young is a very good OC, but wants his next gig to be a HC. IMO

It would be a huge risk for Riley to come to LSU. His goal is to get a head coaching gig and if he comes to LSU and fricks up then he sets himself back. Next year OU has a lot returning on offense and if OU is willing to give him a raise, then why in God's name would he come to LSU? It just doesn't make sense for his career and I can't blame him.
