I’ve been browsing both the rant and this coaching changes board, and for the most part every name mentioned as a possible OC has been down voted to oblivion.. i’m curious, sincerely, who Is the best available (realistic) option out there?

Where has K. Briles proven he’s a good OC?

I don't think it is realistic though. He is just a pipe dream.

Wrong. Every college football dynasty that has ever existed ended once their coaching fell off.

Pretty much everywhere he has coached has seen a large improvement right away.

FAU
2016: 80th 2017: 8th 2018: 45

Houston
2017: 65th 2018: 5th 2019: 51st

FSU
2018:113th 2019: 73rd 2020: 104th

Arkansas
2019: 110th 2020: 86th

FSU and Arkansas were absolute trumpeter fires and he still improved their offenses.

He also had #1 and #35 offense at Baylor in 2015 and 2016 (they year everything went down)

I mean I think we learned that isn’t true during the Les years.

A bad coach can waste talent.

Promote Callaway & Grab Mangas from Panthers
Phil Longo North Carolina
Jeff Lebby Ole Miss

Those are some realistic options that jump out to me.

Briles would be kind of fun!

Tom Manning: he is Matt Campbell’s number 2 and uses TEs like no other program.

Coach Klein, that is if he still has his playbook.
