What are Franklin’s strengths and weaknesses?

I don’t want another motivator I want an X’s and O’s guy

Has done well, but no championship pedigree.

Biggest year he's had at a big name school in Penn State, he lost to USC in the Rose Bowl. He tied for 1st in the Big 10 that year and ended 7th overall.

Never outright won even his own conference, much less a national championship.

strengths- really really good at covering up rape and being an all around shitty human. Also really good recruiter.

weaknesses- good enough coach to be just good enough to not have to fire but not good enough to win a ship. Also he has only been an OC for 2 years and hasnt since 2008 and was run out of town with the whole staff at Kstate. More of a CEO type

Oh also he sucks at being able to make it into the stands to actually fight students after a loss....but to give him credit he is good at confronting them and trying to start fights

Just don't see Franklin leaving State College. I don't think he's got the chops to recruit well enough for LSU. Vandy and Penn State are one thing, recruiting a different type of animal for LSU and competitive SEC West play are two entirely different things.

Listen im in the anyone but james franklin camp, but you would have to be retarded to think his recruiting isnt good. Currently has the #3 class there.

in the 3 years before he got there, they didnt finish in the top 30 once in recruiting.

he has consistently raised their recruiting efforts first to top 20 classes, then to top 15, now last couple of years...top 10.

knock Franklin for a lot of things but recruiting isnt it.
