I know his contract is an issue, but 5 yards at halftime when he was supposed to be an offensive genius is going to be too much for the boosters to take.

They will pay him off barring a massive comeback in the second half.

To his credit his defense is playing hard tonight while getting their arse whipped.

Oh wait that's not to his credit at all because he doesn't go anywhere near the defense.

Fire this guy. He's a joke.

I know his buyout is enormous, but does anyone actually know how much it is?

If it is the whole length of the contract it could be up to 21 mil.

Oh wait my bad, they are up to 9 yards on the half. All is well.

its been rumored to be as much as $15M, but espn ran a story recently saying it was more like the $4-5M range-- "pocket change" as a large, unnamed booster described it.

i dont know about yall, but i love weis. as a HUGE anti-notre dame fan, nothing makes football on NBC better than watching a terrible 'cuse team beat notre shame in their house. i say honor the contract and keep him the 10 years you extended him for after 7 games. yo domers, hows the schematic advantage going for ya?

I think it has to be more than that. It has seven years left on it and he has to be making at least 3 mil a year. There was no reason for him to sign a 10 year extension, if it didn't actually pay him for the years left on the contract.

Any comments are speculative since nobody even knows his yearly salary.
