When he left Tennessee, he and his then-wife bought a house (ok, probably had a note on a house). Since then and that house sold and the divorce, he's remained employed.

And you have shite standards and are just making excuses and moving goalposts around. Freeze may have been busted for being a loudmouth, but he wasn’t doing anything the rest of the programs in the West weren’t doing and he pulled top 10 classes. Even worse, Matt Luke out-recruited Lane at Ole Miss HANDILY.
Face it. Ole Miss is currently sitting well behind Kentucky, UT, Arkansas and State in recruiting with a 10 win season. There is just no excuse for any coach in the West to be pulling classes this poor.

You can laugh, but look at QB and O Line recruiting. OU fricking smokes us in both areas. Nuss and Howard are a step in the right direction, but pulling Caleb Williams to compete with a Heisman candidate is next level. We’ve NEVER had that.

USC and Tennessee regretted getting him. They got him after Pete and Fulmer. He set them back with his antics.

Matt Luke was a complete dipshit on the sidelines. He had the best WR corps in college football with a good Oline and we won like 4-5 games. When Lane brings in Rattler and a bunch of grad transfers (just like this season) it’ll be different. We’ll compete for wins again next season.
