Kept this hire under wraps the whole time and ended up with an excellent, stable, successful hire. He had his guy the whole time and all the media and idiot fans saying he was missing out on people were just flat wrong. Compare this search to when we ended up with O…
Also, look at the coaching upgrades Woodward has made in a short period of time…all-time great women’s basketball coach, excellent men’s baseball coach and now an excellent football coach.

It's literally a repeat of the Jay Johnson hire. Same exact pattern of smoke. A left field hire that very few considered. No nonsense. competent.

I’m not sure he had him the whole time. Not easy pulling a coach from there. Took a lot of convincing and a good selling job. I don’t think BK made a decision until the last day or so. Woodward was probably a little edgy for sure.

When you have a competent AD this is what happens. LSU has grown accustomed to incompetent people leading the AD and it shows.
