I don’t buy the narrative that O ruined the program. We have what it takes to have a quick turnaround.

Auburn went 3-9 in 2012 under Gene Chizik, and then Gus Malzahn brought them to an SEC championship, and then a last-second loss in the BCS championship against Florida State in 2013.

LSU is a better football program than Auburn with more built-in advantages. We can do the same.

It’s not ruined just yet, but it’s teetering on the edge. If they frick up this hire then it very well could be in another 3 years.

This is a 9 or 10 win team next year with proper QB development and some OL transfers.

I think the right coach could have that immediate impact. Riley, Myer, Kiffin are all offensive minded, names that would immediately impact the program and recruiting. But just a "meh" hire would not draw instant attention and even if it worked out I don't think it could impact the program immediately. Just my opinion.

We're a couple years off with the roster to compete for championships.

This team has lots of young talent. The next coach should compete for the sec in year 2.

Year 1 is for filling holes and getting the system installed.

Agree the roster is not close to full limit, the talent is overrated and not developed. The players are slow and weak. This is not even the same condition as when Miles left let alone Saban.
Appreciate the optimism but we are 2-3 years away with a great hire.

Bama is not dominant and LSU proved they can play with them. Get healthy and we can compete next year.

Our offense is stacked.

Boutte, Nabers, Thomas Jr, Bech, Jake Johnson, TDP, Kiner, Goodwin, Bradford are more than enough with competent qb play from Johnson Nuss or Howard.

Defense I wouldn’t count out either. Questions at LB but DL and secondary should be elite if Ricks returns.

Hit the portal hard for OL and LB and this roster is fine.

Our OL is going to be even worse next year if that's possible.

LSU could be competing towards the top of the SEC in year 2 or 3. Next year will be a bit of rebuild

Is it? How about the OL? Who says those players will even be at LSU in the spring. RBs are not great either.
Transfer portal? Total gamble. And it goes both ways too.

Sure every preseason all American on the OL will be looking to transfer too. Or maybe we can grab some more Harvard and Nichols players. That is a total gamble.

Need an offensive mind to keep the ship going. We have had strong defense the last three games but lost 2/3. Have to field a competent offense.
