Sure are a lot of great coaches in this thread, on both sides of the argument. The reality is that nobody knows shite about anything.

I don't know what the hell is going to happen, but if Kelly elects to retain Jones, I would be fine with that. Jones proved he can get his players motivated and executing at a high level, and it was primarily the backups due to opt-outs and "injuries".
And, if Kelly lets Jones go for another DC, I'm fine with that too. Jones has a very promising future but is far from a sure thing. I think he's gonna do good no matter where he ends up. I just want it all to work out best for LSU.

LSU played a zero blitz a lot that game versus Georgia zone. Kirby is not very creative for a defensive genius.

I will give credit to Jones for holding down Bama. I still think he needs more experience. BK needs to hire a proven DC with more than 1 year experience.
