The Washington Commanders finish their disappointing season at home on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. For head coach Ron Rivera, it's also probably a goodbye.

Washington is expected to part ways with Rivera on Monday, per sources, ending his tenure after four seasons.

He's basically a .500 HC thanks mainly to Cam. He should just go back to what he's good at - being a DC

That’s enough to keep you a head coach in the NFL for two decades

I lost any respect I ever had for RR when he fined Jack del Rio $100K for speaking his mind about J6.

Basically what Mike Tomlin has done with the Steelers most of the last decade. He snuck into the playoffs this year at 10-7 and has very few playoff appearances the last decade, yet a game above .500 every year will keep you employed forever.

Rivera has 10 losing seasons in 13 years and hasn't had a winning season since 2017 so not really the same as never having a losing season.

I had to google this… I must’ve missed that.

Seems odd to fine a coach $100k for speaking about that

Thanks. Fixed. He shouldn't have been fined a penny, but he was.

It's time for him to take a break. His heritage will get him another HC job.
