Jimbo has Beene head coach for a while now. Where have some of his assistants been promoted to in the past? I’m honestly asking.

I can only find Mark Stoops, Jeremy Pruitt, and Randy Sanders who's at Esat Tennessee as HC.

Seriously. He doesn't have a coaching tree. More like a coaching shrubbery.

We’ve won 3 national championships since 2000. Yea we are. Sorry to break that to you, ****. Go pretend that you’re relevant somewhere else

This is self induced delusion. LSU just won the national championship this week. There are probably three destinations hires in the SEC that prepare coordinators for the next leap: LSU, Alabama and Georgia.

It’s honestly dumb to say this opening isn’t an upgrade when only a handful of programs nationally are on par. Add Clemson and Ohio State for a full complete list.

Lots of turnover when you're on top. They helped coach LSU to have the greatest college football season ever. When would their stock ever be higher?

And like another poster said, it's not like they moved laterally. HC job & NFL coordinator at 30 years old

Perpetual stupidity.

Destination jobs for assistants? Assistants come to championship programs like LSU to further their careers and move on.
That can’t happen at a craptastic, underachieving program like eaTme.

Dude, i know weed is legal in Colorado but reduce your consumption.

Would love him here, but hes not leaving atm for a few more years. His oldest son is either a sophomore or junior in hs and he wants him to finish school before he takes another job.

Good luck with that

You do realize that coaching at LSU is different than coaching at A&M right?

Even if the money is exactly the same, the opportunity to coach at LSU is just better in every way.

The fact that you look at what's going on and that is what you come up with tells me everything I need to know about you. You're an imbecile. Plain and simple.

I question if some of you even follow the team you're a fan of.

Haven’t more coaches actually left TAMU this offseason?

I don’t know if “losing” our GA disguised as a TE coach even counts.

A&M is very young and recruiting classes are top 5ish the last two years.

He may want to sit tight and see what happens there.

Yeah it’s weird no one tries to pluck all the coaches from an 8-5 football team

Try and get him if you want - won't happen. You will get someone good, but not everyone is going to be lining up to take orders from a caveman that requires a translator to be understood
