No sources here, just my speculation. But we were hearing Sark's name alot, then things got quiet with him. With this dragging on, to me it feels like they are waiting to see what happens tonight with the Falcons game.

Having said that I think it ends up being Ensingmer in the end. Not sure how I feel about Sark, but better then the alternative.

Sark won't be available for two more weeks when the Falcons lose to the Saints in the NFC championship game

Hope he loses in a 63 - 56 type game. That’d be awesome.

It’s Sark, all signs point to it. Just gotta wait until ATL loses.

If you’re wanting Sark, you’re pulling for the Rams.

I will be pulling for the Rams.

It's sark. And we can wait for him. There is no rush as the remaining guys we want to sign outside of Chase are defense.

The only drama over this is on this board.

I honestly don’t think it will be Sark but I really hope it is. To add to that, he is one of the USC guys that O is pining for and I suspect that would lead O to give him autonomy to run the offense without meddling. I don’t think O ever fully trusted Canada (which was his mistake).

If you’re gonna put a yes man in that spot it might as well be one people can get behind.

Atlanta isn't firing Sark after one year. They just made the playoffs and still have a top offense.

If they wouldn’t have made the playoffs I’d feel better about him potentially coming here. Was just listening to the radio and they said the struggling offense isn’t all on sark- Matt Ryan shares some blame. But in most cases making the postseason is a band aid- so I am leaning towards your line of thinking.

I want Atlanta to stay in the playoffs for a while so sark can be a last option.

I'd be really happy with Sark but I just don't see it happening. I'm not that concerned with his drinking issue as he seems to have been doing ok for a few years now and we simply tell Ensminger to be his best friend and top assistant. Sort of a relationship as if Sarkisian were a top-offensive minded HC and Ensminger was the solid OC implementing his offense. I think it could work very well but I just don't see Atlanta letting him go.

Could we pay something in the $1.7M/yr range to poach him?

Sark? He cost Bamma a Natty, horrible play calling in that game and when the RB got dinged he was lost.

Sark offense scored 31 on the nation's 3rd ranked defense. I didn't see him on the field when clemson drive the ball down the throat of sabans defense to win the game.

Yes, why would we want an elite OC prospect that has national championship game experience, NCAA HC experience and NFL experience. We're much better off with Steve Ensminger.

Really? If I recall, bama had no issues scoring points that game. Their defense shite the bed on the final drive of the game, allowing Clemson to score. We really do have some uneducated morons for fans!

In 2009 you probably thought Payton would never coach in one Superbowl. And I know you thought the Saints would never win a Superbowl. AND LOOKEE WHAT HAPPENED!

Yeah, waiting on Sark will work out as well as waiting on Joey Freshwater did last season. If Orgeron isn't out vetting candidates right now, I don't know, this is yet another colossal failure of a search.

Atlanta is loaded with offensive talent and the numbers show that they've actually stepped back in production when compared to last year. I am not impressed with Sark.

No clue why so many people are so sold that he is the answer to our offensive woes. He meshes with the obvious "good ole boy" system that has plaged our offense for so long, and therefore he would be giving the problem continuity as opposed to helping rectify it.

If O is waiting on Sark instead of thoroughly vetting outside candidates for the position, then we are in big trouble again.
