UT hires Rams TE coach as OC/ Chris Low still not giving up

There were reports Tuesday night that Orgeron had accepted a position at LSU as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator, although nobody at LSU was willing to confirm that. The Vols are prepared to pay Orgeron as much as $600,000 annually. He's considered one of the best recruiters in the country and would also coach the defensive line.
One of the holdups in his coming to Tennessee could be that he and his family prefer to live in Louisiana. LSU coach Les Miles said he wouldn't address any changes to his staff until later this week following the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
