I think Hannigriff threw that out there at lunch today. Not a bad landing spot for him. Some people forge that in that crazy 2007 season USF got all the way up to #2 in the rankings.

Would be an excellent hire. Could see him there for 3 years then getting a chance at another big time gig.

Which pretty much means that Kiffin got the UH job

Would be a great hire, great guy who got shafted at Texas because they hired someone they were never really all in for.

Kiffin was their leader. He must have pulled out, and they moved on to Strong

Kiffin had no shot at USF. His ex bro in law David Reaves sank him by poor mouthing him to the admin.

Good for him. Texas was too much too fast for him. Seems like he was never fully accepted.

That's an interesting choice because they are one of those all offense type teams. Their defense is quite bad.

I attended the USF-Navy game. They couldn't stop theNavy run to save their life.

Their fans seem to only understand scoring. They have no appreciation for defensive football.

Miles was their leader supposedly. Kiffin wasn't going there.

Miles hasn't been the leader for any team this year. You can believe that if you would like. Because if he was #1 on a list, then why did those teams move away from him, without him getting a job somewhere else?

Kiffin was the USF leader (despite his ex-brother-in-law making an arse of himself). And now they've moved on to negotiating with a failed coach

Sooner or later, after coaches realize they aren't fit for huge jobs, they figure out what they are....some coaches are mid major successes. I think that's what Strong is. He belongs at a mid size school and conference.

I think same goes for Kiffin.

Good spot for Strong.

Can't win at Texas you can't win anywhere. Louisville had to have been an aberration.
