He’s a scum bag through and through, but if I’m Bama he’s the first call I make. Say what you want but he’s a great coach at the college level.

this conference gets even tougher. he wouldn't last two season before having health issues again

He’s a stop gap until someone like Dan Lanning has more experience. He could coach 3-5 years and then hand it off. It’s not like he will be rebuilding a program.

He did that at Florida and they haven’t been the same since.

It was a week or two ago that Meyer was interviewed by some people that cover the Gators and they asked him about a return to coaching. He said 'no way'. Current job is great. Money is great. Life is great. He's a grandfather and so on...he's done with coaching. Also said that he wasn't sure if his approach would work in this game, given NIL etc.

CFB is a circus right now. NIL and the portal have been a disaster. Probably going to cause more coaches to stay out or get out of the college game.

But they won 2 titles while he was there

He's worth the risk IMO

He’s not built for the grind of current CFB. Way too much stress for him. Also doubt the players would put up with his coaching style now.

Urban Myer’s heart ain’t healthy enough to coach at Bama.
