In the NFL.

Which puts him ahead of Steve Spurrier, Nick Saban, Pete Carroll and Gene Stallings. All of them won national championships in college.

As much as we hate Auburn (because they sometimes beat LSU), Tubberville is my guy. He'd love to not have to compete with 4 other coaches for La. bluechippers.

Rodriguez was the architect of that Tulane offense when they went undefeated a few years back. I think he'd do great with the LSU talent.

It will NEVER happen, but I say Mark Richt.

I have seen far worse suggestions.

True. I would take Richt over any of the others mentioned. I have respected that man for years.

I agree with Richt as well but don't see him leaving Georgia.

I don't see him leaving Georgia either, and he really hasnt been able to win the big one at UGA anyway. His teams are always solid but never great.

It's that high?

I'd chip in $50.

I don't want an NFL guy. You don't know if they can transition to the college game (some have some haven't), and you'll always be wondering if their looking looking for the next NFL opening.

To be honest with you..I don't know why but I like Harbaugh.

Ditto. He's another Schembechler guy. Something about him seems like he would be a good fit even though he hasn't shown sustained success in major college football. Then again if he is successful he would probably be a prime candidate for the NFL or eventually replace the next Michigan coach.

Which is exactly why we should go after him--GA is not getting the talent needed to win it all--LSU can give him that edge_ I don't know of a coach with a higher character level and stronger family focus--two things Skip wants-- One call thats all
