Can’t wait to see him back as a P4 coordinator after two years
Dude that's a fricking shitty perspective. How could you not want him to be successful since your team helped the guy reach a goal of his. He obviously helped LSU and one day he might be the head coach and use his experience there to help LSU win a national championship. It's so conceited and narcissistic to have that view point to not want people involved with your program to not succeed.

It’s Goulding, isn’t it??
After the playoff run, he leaves Ole Miss for LSU. This is all a conspiracy by Lane, isn’t it??

Pay no attention to that guy. He's obviously a fricking moron. Such a shortsighted perspective. Also, Tulane's last two coaches have been extremely successful. He will probably end up being somewhat successful at Tulane as well.

I have said for years that we should have done what Boise St did and just keep hiring from within (or the hot up and coming coach). With what Louisiana produces talent wise (I said this before NIL and whatnot) that we could field some really good teams from players that LSU doesn't want or whatever. Tulsa actually recruited the river parishes and it seemed that every year we were getting scorched by some 5'8" 170 lb kid that was 'to small' for LSU but was just the right size to make our game miserable.
Realistically most college teams are some form of a 'stepping stone'. I mean LSU hired a sitting Notre Dame coach. And USC hired Oklahomas sitting head coach.
I didn't totally care for how Fritz left and he had the S&C coach go in on our program pretty hard because he (Fritz) didn't want to totally burn that bridge....(Fritz was notorious for 'interviewing' for jobs so he could get either a raise for himself or his staff which is totally fine but he really never came out and asked for those things which eventually became tiresome).

He is not ready and will fail spectacularly.
Thanks, a-hole.

Best of luck to Coach Baker

It sucks losing good assistant coaches but that means you have hired good people. It's a great opportunity for baker and he will not forget what LSU has done for him.

Considering most QBs in the American can run well, I don’t think opposing coaches are scared of Baker and Tulane. Just not head coach material imo, but he’ll land on his feet.

Good for him. I think we can improve with the next DC. We gave up a ton of third and longs this past season.

Wild haha. Would love to keep him!

You don’t rethink 4 million a year and coaching at Tulane for 3 years for the next big stepping stone
I’d be shocked
I’d be shocked
