thought Ensminger "didn't want to be OC"? Now all of a sudden he does?

Well he’s going to get a raise. Probably a million or so total I suppose. Wayyy too much for an OC that hasn’t been an OC in a long time and got fired twice when he was one.

I think Orgeron is signing his own death warrant if this actually happens. You don’t go from “We’re gonna get the best coordinators in football” to “frick it. Let’s promote the TE coach and see what happens” in one season and survive it.

If Steve is actually hired and we win less then 8 this year, which is very possible

I think you will see a lot of people not attend games next year, donations to the university if this hire is made will drop substantially

shite will turn really really bad at LSU for O, Alleva, and many others extremely quick. People will be fired if that all happens

Orgeron is nothing more than a snake oil Salesman. He'll say anything he has to in order to make a sale! Once he gets what he wants all the promises he made go out the window. He is the damn Grim Reaper of college football. When he is hired at a program he begins to poison and kill it until the Head Coach that hired him is fired and he gets the interim job. USC was smart enough to not make him the permanent head coach but he had his felon POS buddy here to help him convince our highly functioning retard of an Athletic Director into giving him the job! Sorry for the melt but this clown show is becoming ridiculous!

Orgeron sold Alleva a 1985 Opel for the price of a new Bentley.

Of course that's what happens. What do they need a HC for if everyone's carrying his water? He's not THAT good of a recruiter.

I know I am asking a dumb question here but what on earth does it take for a AD to be replaced?

Leadership from the very top at LSU shows that they really don't care that much. Its honestly scary to see how some of these people can continuously keep their jobs after costing the university millions year after year.

There is ZERO accountability, this transcends into a few of LSU's sports. They don't feel threatened to lose their jobs. I know for a fact of two coaches who were told that LSU will be content as long as they don't have losing seasons constantly or don't finish last in the conference

how the hell can that be a standard?? I don't know if its possible to lower the bar any more than that

Wow . Some fan you are. I support the tigers no matter who the coaches are. You won’t be making a difference not will you put a single dent in anything. You WILL, however miss some fun.

I don’t believe you for a minute.

Nope, Nikki and Flory were told if they don't finish last in the conference or lose all the time, they will always have a job

It could explain the major recruiting drop off in WBB but who knows

I can't verify for any other sport.

But I do know this, Nikki and Alleva weren't on good terms this fall for whatever reason

I honestly think Alleva is scared of her, she can be pretty scary when she is mad

Alleva did receive many complaints this fall about the Lee (soccer coach)

But apparently he doesn't care what happens with them, just don't commit violations or run into trouble with the NCAA

The Womens Tennis team was in major shite this fall with the NCAA but I don't know how it has vanished

Yeah tons of fun. The nursing home on the sideline will be awesome and maybe sometimes we will kick us a field goal if it's 20 yards and in. Coach O gon take us to da ship!

DuBose was definitely Bama's "He talks like us" hire and was a Bear Bryant boy to boot.

I hope for LSU's sake that he doesn't end up hurting the whole program like DuBose did - got so desperate and in over his head that he resorted to cheating and brought on consequences that crippled the program for a decade.

Yeah but if they hired O, there’s no way even they thought he could crash it all in less than 3 years.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t think so either.

Looks likely Now.

Mike Archer went from 10-1-1 to 4-7 in 2 years. LSU had six straight losing seasons. It can happen quickly, and it isn’t so easy to correct.

frick you, bitch! Don't ever question my love for LSU. I went to the damn school. Unlike most, I will admit that I was speaking out of my arse and was angry hearing a certain Ensminger comment. Won't happen again and I apologize to the real Tiger fans but I will always support my school, no matter what. Just sucks that Ensminger is even considered. Oh fricking well,

I do not want SE in any way, shape, or form, but I don't get the 'doom & gloom' either since it already landed the moment we fired the most successful head coach in program history and replaced him with quite literally the worst head coach in Ole Miss history that no one, anywhere, wanted.

We've already taken the torpedo hit in hiring Orgeron; extra holes in the ship will just get it over with more quickly.
