That's a big time hire. Not sure how much pull he still has in South beach but it certainly can't hurt.

We will see if it's true. Same thing happened to Arkansas where multiple sites reported it and even gave salary figures.

5 year deal? What's the buyout on that? I'd be surprised if Hart agreed to something long term if there wasn't an exit strategy.

They must have done the research pretty damn fast.
Color me skeptical. I highly doubt anyone will be hiring Randy Shannon this season.

I was not at ALL impressed with Shannon as a head coach BUT as a DC, that dude is fricking awesome.
Not only that be he will NOT allow players to run the asylum so to speak. Now, he DID allow that shite at Miami to go down under his watch but there is only so much one guy can do.
I'm kind of pissed that UT made that hire. Nice job...

Two reasons Shannon and Arkansas couldn't get together. "MONEY AND ASSISTANTS". Supposedly Shannnon wants to bring a couple of assistants with him. Word Terry Joseph will move to Special Teams( Dooley will help) And Michael Barrow and a DB coach would be coming with Shannon. Don't know if it's true but we will see.
