Strong feeling Kiffin will leave us standing at the alter. I like him but, you Just can’t trust the guy.

Personally, if our options are:

1. Wait for Kiffin to be eliminated from playoffs
2. Hire Dillingham Dec1

I’m going with Dillingham Dec1…. I’d actually prefer Dillingham anyway, and you don’t have to wait makes it even better. And eliminates the risk of Kiffin leaving you scrambling.

I’m not ruling any of the big dogs out yet. Of course Saban’s too damn old, but I’m not in that man’s head. He may miss coaching so badly that he can barely stand it, and I guarantee you he will do exactly what the f he wants to do. Mrs. Terry is an awesome wife to him, but she does not boss him the way some believe. I’m not ruling Kiffin out either. I don’t give a rat’s arse what he says to the media. As for Dillingham, I live here in Scottsdale, and yes he’s definitely the native son to this big valley, BUT money talks and bullshite walks. I ain’t ruling him out either. And again, it doesn’t matter what he has said to media.

I been keeping receipts on X. If we pull Kiffin on the heels of one of the most dysfunctional starts to a coaching search in the history of college football, I will have some serious shite talking to do to some really arrogant fricks on that app.

I would place my bet on the field. Kiffen or Dillingam. My bet is on the field.

Man fans need to drop this mentality. I will continue to say that Kelly had as good as a resume as you can get in 21 and didn’t pan out. You interview every type of candidate. Your type of thinking would’ve costed Tenn Josh heupal, would’ve costed Florida urban Meyer who was at bowling green

Or could it be, that I just happen to think Kiffin, Dillingham, and Brohm would all do better at LSU than Golesh, Sumrall, or Morris would. I’m not saying to not do any digging on the 3 at all, just saying LSU can do better than those 3.

And from all reports, the LSU boosters and big money guys are wanting to go all out, and money is no barrier. If LSU boosters want a grand slam, and money is no issue, they aren’t going after any small school guy. Could 1 of those guys do great things at LSU? Sure they could. Do the people running the show want to go that route right now? I doubt it.

These are my feelings exactly. You can't trust Kiffin. He's gonna frick us over.

Verge needs to get Brohm before Auburn scoops him up or go after Dillingham.

So, in this day and age, how good are the powers that be at disinformation?

Edited to correct typo.

There’s a lot of it going on this week IMO

The decision-makers that actually do have information aren’t giving the real information. And if they’re giving information to anyone, it’s misleading and for a reason.

IMO, if we do this we will likely ground-rule out some really good prospects. Similarly with assistants.

Or maybe another way to think about it, consider the great coaches of recent (Saban, Meyer, Stoops, Spurrier, Smart, etc). At what point in their respective coaching careers would you have been willing to hire them as our HC?

For example, we interviewed Spurrier after Arnsparger in '86 (see below). He had USFL HC only experience. We could've hired Saban in '95 when we hired DiNardo. Saban had been a HC for only 1 year at the time. Had we fired DiNardo a year earlier, we could've hired Stoops in '99. Stoops had never been a HC.

It’s rational. I don’t know why someone would post this if they were completely full of shite. I choose to believe, but also a lot of yall have way too much free time on your hands

I’m interested on the “burned bridges” with Freeman though.

Good post. I was bullish on Sumrall until last week against UTSA. Maybe it was a rash decision to throw him out the window over 1 loss. What Morris has done over his short career so far as an offensive mind has been remarkable. I just trust Kiffin and Dillingham more at this point in time than some of the coaches at smaller schools.
