As one administrator in the Athletic Dept. told me an hour ago, "We had no choice but to try and keep him. He won 11." And he wasn't very enthusiastic, I can tell you.

His dream job offered him the head coaching job and probably a lot of money, he turned them down. THAT'S saying something.

I got a question for you, other companies come up to you and want to interview you for a job with them that might be worth more money and is a job AT ONE TIME you really wanted. Do you automatically turn them down or do you atleast take the interview to see?

No. Any of the top 100 TAF members could write a check to get rid of him that they'd basically use to wipe their arse.

TAF didn't write the check because they wanted to see how Miles would do this year. If he sucked it up, they were going to clean house. They weren't going to give Miles the opportunity to get another OC, fail the next year and then be in a bigger financial hole after the guaranteed contract to the new OC. In other words, TAF didn't have confidence Miles would be here right now. So yea, you can blame TAF for Crowton still being here this year.

Pretty much how I feel. I can talk myself into Miles at times but I'm a peon. I'm not the one who matters.

I never liked the guy!!! NEVER!! I know he's a good man and all that. Mr Rogers is a good man too and I didnt see him around a football field. I'm tired of this program looking look a 2nd tier program. We should dominate. And let's get off this Miles is a great recruiter stuff. He should recruit Louisiana well and he gets the left over Texas recruits. When will LSU ever recruit on the national level like the rest of the big programs. Les is a good guy and I hope he gets it together because it looks like we are stuck with him.
