Woody floats Stoops and BoB and then hires Campbell. Brilliant.

Campbell has beaten all these dudes everyone is crying about

Riley, Aranda, Rhule, Tom Herman for OC.

And Iowa st does not GAF about football, comparatively

Even if Iowa State gives a frick about it, it's still a terrible job. Campbell would be a great hire.

Let me be more clear, then. Can he go into the hood and connect with blue chip players? It’s a little bit different communicating with kids in BFE Iowa and kids in New Orleans or North Baton Rouge, or Miami Dade or any inner city.

This is the kind of thing you get assistants for.

Almost nobody gets a recruit based on one night in the living room. It's a process that takes months.

What we know about Campbell is that he's an excellent talent evaluator. And if you're a good talent evaluator at LSU you will recruit well regardless of what 247 and Rivals say about your classes, because you're in the middle of a massive pool of future NFL talent every year and a lot of it isn't 4- or 5-star rated. And an awful lot of it just needs an excuse to come to LSU.

go look at Iowa State's roster. I saw kids from PHilly, Jax, HOuston, KC, Miami, Denver, San Antonio, Miami, etc.

It's not like it's a team of farm boys.

Scouting and development don’t cut it in the SECW. Scouting and development don’t cut it to win national championships.

It can make a big difference on recruiting four stars with a higher ceiling over 5 star busts. Scouting and development is what weeds out the fakes.

Campbell would do very well at LSU and I don’t think he’s scared of the SEC
