1. His heart won't be in it, his mind will be at Nebraska recruiting.
2. He's an Ohio State Alum.

Sorry folks...if this is germans...but I just don't see where it's in LSU's best interest to allow him to coach based on his status.

How is it retarded? It's a true statement. Defend yourself. If he was an LSU coach...and not a Nebraska coach...I wouldn't have brought it up...now one has to question his loyalties.

Bo has one reason for coaching that game and it called a RING. Bo has instant credibility with recruits with a NC ring on his finger. He will be focused because he wants it as much as the rest of the team. He's not coaching for Ohio State!

3. It would be a disservice to both teams. He can't devote himself to either team 100%. During the time in question LSU needs a full time defensive coordinator, and Nebraska needs a head coach to hire assistants, coordinate recruiting, etc.

As a Nebraska fan, I won't be upset if he coaches the MNC game, because I understand the desire, but I think both teams want and need a full time coach. I think the best solution would be if LSU named an interim coordinator, and Pelini showed up for the game on the LSU sideline and acted as an on-call advisor.

frick you.

Why the hell should it matter where he graduated from?

He's coaching LSU in the NC game and that's where his allegiance is THAT NIGHT.

Graduating from OSU has nothing to do with anything.

If he wants to coach, and Les wants him to coach, and Osborne is ok, I say let him coach. He wants that ring bad...it will look good when he is recruiting for NU. If Bo gives our defense the best shot at stopping OSU, then let him coach.

He doesnt work for "us" anymore. He needs to go to Nebraska, good luck for him, yada yada yada, and we go with internal people. If a coach leaves you have an "interim" coach right? i.e Hal Hunter, so if an assistant leaves you have an interim assistant. Same deal. I do feel that in EVERY BIG game our 'D' always went conservative and that was bc Pelini went conservative. Les Rock! Wouldnt it be nerve wracking on TOSU to figure out what our D would look like if they knew for a month that the coordinator was not there, and then we add just one or two LITTLE wrinkles to his deal, BAM! It would look to TOSU to be a completely diff D and IMO freak them out.

give him a ring, and don't let him on the field,
we only have gotten to a lower level with each game, if you don't rush the quarterback then OSU wins
