Does that shite not happen anymore?
I loved/hated all the speculation that used to come from it...

We've truly lost what was magical about the CCB.

Flight tracking will get real interesting this weekend. Saturday/Sunday should be fun.

Administrations have gotten much smarter about that sort of stuff. Going to be hard to get any info that way

Have to wait until the games are over.

I've been on flight aware but haven't seen anything interesting yet. Out of boredom I like to look at the private planes that travel to every LSU away game--trying to see if any of these jets are doing Houston or Tally runs this week

It's early.
Remember, it's usually now before this board is even open.
All the Miles-to-Michigan stuff happened between the end of the regular season and the bowl game, hence the flight tracking.
But you are right. This board has lost something.
When was the second Miles to Michigan? 2010?
I remember I posted as an obvious and total joke that I saw Miles and the Michigan AD talking over fingers at Raisin Canes outside the North Gate.
It was all over the Michigan boards in no time with many asking, "What's Raisin' Canes?"
Wow. And to think we were scared of losing Miles then.
Well, that's not fair to Les. If only he hadn't stagnated.

It was when they hired Brady Hoke, so yeah 2010 I think.

Some of us were. Call me a nega but I was hoping he'd go.

Some planes have private registrations with the FAA (they can't be tracked). But, it's still fun to monitor. BTR is easy since the airport doesn't have many flights.

The planes LSU uses aren't private...I doubt boosters are actually meeting face to face with potential coaches unless it is in some official TAF capacity.
Todd Graves is in Houston though

There we go.
One Caniac and Herman is won over.

Free Canes is a great incentive, IMO.

LSU does have one blocked plane, N611ta. I'm not sure what role, if any , it has in the coaching search.

I've always wondered if Eagle Air Med Corp. was owned by an LSU alum since they're based out of Utah
