So we beat up on terrible defenses? We lose to good defenses? Sounds like a reason to hire him and ignore the fact that he sucked as a head coach the last ti

I think you need to reread his post. He's very against hiring O.

But fans kept saying that Miles needed to be a CEO and let his OC coach.

So what do we want. A CEO or a meddling head coach?

The comical part kid is that people wanted jimbo gone when he was at LSU.

Maybe that great offensive mind should do better than losing 7 over the last two years, two BT 40 and 50 points respectively, despite being more talented than every team he lost to.

As for Herman, perhaps he should use than offensive mind to score more points than navy and sorry arse SMU. You kids kill me with your ignorance. You honestly sound like democrats supporting Hillary with your complete ignorance

On the other hand, a CEO type coach has to be able to make two great coordinator hires. And usually, this is happening every few years because if they are good, they are leaving for a better job at some point.

By hiring a guy who doesn't specialize in offense or defense, you are already putting the program at a disadvantage with situations like this.

These assertions are indisputably true as a matter of logic. And they are borne out by empirical fact. Overwhelming majority of recent NC's have been won by specialists.

Listen you miserable, ignorant fk, I'm not even an O guy, but he lost one game to the best team in the country, in a hell of a battle. He didn't lose to Wisconsin and auburn you pos. So sick of our idiot portion of the fan base. You are a miserable negative fk.

Fisher or Herman, you know you are getting a great mind on the offense side of the ball.

Fisher was the LSU OC, what happened to his mind that LSU offense was not good?

Exactly. Just because Miles had to be a CEO to have any level of success doesn't mean people want a CEO. It just means we wanted Miles to stay in his element.

Wow. The anger is real.

We need to absolutely give O a lot of credit. He's been an outstanding interim HC. He brings out a lot of emotional support. I'm looking beyond the "emotional" option. If by some crazy off chance he's retained, let's see how he does when the honeymoon is over.

im only interested in thwarting ALL BS posts about hiring this guy BECAUSE ALL OF OUR COMPETITORS WANt US TO! He is letting his assistants call their game which to his credit is what Miles failed to do.
How is he a game changer in developing our QBs and offense? Steve Enzimibger and O are only position coaches AT BEST!

Agree with the OP. Having a head coach with expertise on either offense or defense is much better than a head coach with no expertise on neither side of the ball. Cause you can have a scenario where you can have a good offensive coordinator but missed out on a good defensive coordinator or vice versa. Worst yet, missing out on both. With an expert head coach at least one side is covered. Coach O is not an expert on either side. He has the team riding high at the moment but in the long run, success is less likely than with Fisher, Herman or Aranda.

We're suffering through our "CEO-type" right now with no relief in the near future.

Stop calling everyone "kid" you douche. We're not in the movie Casablanca.

Most of those losses weren't due to the offense, though. Most were defensive issues. This year especially.

Lol. Sure two losses means a coach sucks. You're a dumb son of a bitch. Why don't you enlighten us on the right choice almighty? I bet you're an O supporter. Just say it so we can all get a good laugh. Based on your profile, i am just going to assume you're probably a Tiger Ree alter. Lol.
