BC is going to compete for the hockey championship year in year out.
You look at Rivals.com You get back to us if there is EVER 1 five star football player & half dozen 4 stars in all of New England.

Maryland has close access to football players. Baltimore/DC, northern VA.

Of course he wants to be a head coach. You're asking LSU fans to be rational about something they don't want to think about.

I'm not sure why people are struggling with this concept. His first LSU contract allowed him to leave immediately if he were offered a head coaching job somewhere else. That is as much proof as you can have prior to him actually accepting a job at another university.

This job is toxic right now. I see no advantages for any up and coming HC to take this job. I don't know if even a good coach could turn that team around in 3 years.

Curious, what is my "agenda" as you put it.

I'm with you man. This idea that Aranda doesn't want to be a HC is asinine. Is it possible? I suppose it's possible but why assume it as more likely than him wanting to be a HC?

Coaches with the talent to afford themselves opportunities to advance their careers overwhelmingly take those opportunities. And he will get that opportunity in short order because he's brilliant and people that need coaches are taking notice.

Aranda is a massive introvert. He's a behind the scenes guy. His next step is not HC, it's NFL DC.

So you're thinking Chavis wants to be a head coach?

Really its brilliant. He takes the job at A&M, sandbags on coaching the defense to get Sumlin fired and moves right in to snatch the job for himself! That man is an evil genius!!

exactly. good luck telling these folks though - they want a direct quote from Aranda himself saying he doesnt want a college HC job.

Do you suppose Pete Jenkins could also have an ulterior motive? Orgeron better watch out!

I have a feeling PJ Fleck will end up accepting the Minnesota job.

Do you want LSU to be successful?. I mean, its like you want all of their best players or coaches to go elsewhere. I want them to stay as long as possible to help the LSU program to contend for titles

I'm pretty sure Chavis is on the record as saying he does not want to be a HC. It's a lot more believable when they actually say it.
