Seems pretty obvious it's muschamp.

They would do much better with Rich Rod than Muschamp. Although, RR with Muschamp as DC would be fricking stout for SC.

if it is between those two then why would Boom get it. RR is a proven winner. Boom is a proven loose end

Can't believe USCe hasn't called Mike Leach. Muschamp? Is that your best candidate? Come on man.

Leach is perfect at outposts like Lubbock and Pullman. Cult hero.

Hey the guy can spin straw into gold when it comes to quarterbacks, which was Spurrier's Achilles heel at USCe.

What would Champ have to make him successful at USC that he lacked at UF?

No, it wasn't. Spurrier had the all-time winningest USC QB under his tenure in Shaw (who went 18-0 at home), and the SEC passing yards leader last year in Thompson. Both are on NFL rosters. Even Mitchell and Garcia, who aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, were competent SEC quarterbacks.

Spurrier's Achilles heel was his work ethic. He got the team in the SEC title hunt, but then got complacent.

One of the associate ADs came over from Michigan and was there when RichRod was there. Supposedly there's some concern about the way he handled some NCAA stuff while in Ann Arbor.

That, and the fanbase absolutely hates the guy. Don't know if it's warranted, as I think he's a fine coach, and he's done well with Arizona (who I pull for in the PAC). But for whatever reason, the dues-paying members of the Gamecock Club are much more willing to give Muschamp another chance vs RichRod.
