Conflicting reports coming out of Columbia. 247 guys saying this didn't happen, and they've been consistent that Muschamp has been the pick since Smart was off the board.

Rich Rod doesn't have the longest track record of being honest. Have a hard time believing this.

Please take Will. I don't want to lose TRob to Maryland.

The fact Byrne is even tweeting about this is really sad.

Champ is gone as of tomorrow morning, for sure. Hopefully we announce TRob immediately after.

Not the worst thing in the world for auburn if he gets the dc job. Muschamp would have been gone after year 2 anyway.

I honestly can't imagine someone being less professional in this situation.

Take the high road and don't even give them the satisfaction.

As long as Will Muschamp knows, that is all that matters.

Not necessarily true. If we offer him the DC position, he's staying.

Yep, I'll only be happy if TRob is announced immediately after Muschamp.

It's not about giving them the satisfaction -- their defamation is uncalled for and needs to be quelled immediately.

True, our best case scenario was keeping him one more year. Cannot blame him for taking an SEC HC position...
