sounds about right. agents puts name out to get client in the news and a raise. Coach acts pissed and chastises the media for asking about the rumor that his own agent had started.

I believe the above to be totally true. I only wonder if the Coach realizes that the media is asking about it due to what is agent did behind the scenes. Probably not if i had to guess.

If we’re Tomlin, and interested in coaching in college, I’d do just what he did. Lie my arse off. It’s none of the journalists’ business. Why do they think they’re entitled to know this information? Of course, I think Tomlin was sincere.
