Have they had time to bug his office before he starts?

Odd hire. He's a prick. Doesn't seem to fit Pittsburgh mentality.

His offenses in KC weren't particularly productive either.

I like the hire.

He's a Pittsburgh guy first and fore most.

He's also had head coaching and offensive coordinator experience.

I think Kirby Wilson would have got the job if not for the fire tradegy.

Haley needs to be on a short leash by Tomlin and the Rooneys.
The 66,000 OC s at Heinz field will be hard to impress

So much for going back to the old steelers running game

ETA nevermind. Was thinking of his Cardinal days, Forgot the Chiefs were a good running team when healthy

I was reading Peter Kings mailbag this morning and he was saying the interview was just a courtesy interview and he wouldn't get it. Good one Pete

to be honest lie a previous poster said it would have been. All indications are that the RB's coach or QB's coach would have gotten the job.

but if there's a franchise that can make it work, it's Pittsburgh -- as opposed to a situation like TB and Shiano.

His offense in Arizona was impressive... and he's got stability at QB... also seemed like the steelers improved their running game this season.

Makes sense because of the Whisenhunt(sp?) connection
