Surely they could get someone like the Memphis coach.

His offense places a low ceiling on the program. It's the most underachieving athletic department in the country.

How strict are Georgia Tech’s academic requirements for athletes? I know nothing about their AD basically. If they’re strict then I could see why Johnson is a decent fit

He has another year on his contract.

I forget which math it is but they have an insane math requirement for every student. It's not admissions as much as the courses you have to take.

He won nine games just last year. You could justify moving on from him but you could just as easily justify keeping him.

People always use the Calculus excuse but Calculus existed in the 80's and 90's. If the entire UGA football team had to take Calculus I'm confident UGA would magically find a way to grease those skids.

Interesting. As someone that knows little about the school except where it’s located and that it’s strong academically, I’ve felt they really underachieve as an AD lately. Especially in baseball where they have a pretty rich history and surrounded by a shite ton of talent

Always fairly decent in baseball it seems but can’t get through the supers
