Please God answer our prayers and let this be truth!

I hope the change is made. Chavis righted the defense, now we need someone to right the offense and we will be back.
I personally think most championship winning coaches have a 5 year life span because of what it takes build a successful program today. There's the Florida's and then there's the Iowa's.

Unless BG was brought in as a WR Coach knowing what was going to happen and he interviewed for it a few weeks ago and we brought him in like this to keep someone else from getting him and to give Crowton time to find something else?
if crowton is fired, and this is a big if...and BG gets the OC job...we'll know that this is true...sounds reasonable...

I have no idea....I hope its just CLM's style and that this decision was not made for him. If it was he will not make it. The inmates are never the same once they have ran the asylum.

Had we had a decent OC this year, there is a great chance I would be at the Rose Bowl this morning tailgating with other Tiger alums and fans. 120th in offense and we still managed to finish 9-4 is amazing in itself. That tells me there is some great talent on the team in spite of the poor coaching by the current offensive staff.

And Miles made that move weeks ago.

Explains the lateral move from FL for sure. I will be happy with any new OC. It is hard to get worse than Crowton's gameplan.
Crowton needs to be canned.

So I guess the sighting of Mike Leach in Baton Rouge this week may have been true??? Did Les meet with him???

I say screw hiring a WR Coach...BG can do that...I say we hire a QB coach instead..

Leach was there, but it was a private meeting with Spurrier. The Columbia paper reported this morning that Spurrier has mastered Augusta National and wants to try his hand at the BRCC.
He will be announced as the new LSU coach tomorrow with Leach as his OC. Rex Ryan will be the new DC.

That wasn't Leach. That was Blackbeard.

all the tards are calling for Tyke Tolbert. I bet 90% of em cant even tell you anything about his coaching career. Douche bags.

knowing lsu's bullshite, he is wrong, they will most likely promote BG and then Leslie will find someone to take wideout position job, just boggles me why we rush into hiring so fast instead of looking whats out there! BG can interview for the job, just cause your OC gets fired doesn't mean you deserve the promotion, yet.
You're assuming this wasn't the plan all along. I think it was the plan from the begining. So that makes it the plan not the "fall back plan"

"When seeking the obscure or seemingly unknowable, Young Grasshopper, you must go to Shreveport and find the Master.
Much that is hidden to non sportscasters is known and seen by Master Fletcher..."
Actually, if you knew this guy, you wouldn't get too excited about the rumor, He may be right, but so is a stopped clock, twice a day.
