This is from Saturday Down South, and contains some interesting thoughts on six of the more commonly mentioned possibilities on our list.
Three to pursue: Lane Kiffin, Mel Tucker, Mark Stoops
Three to avoid: Jimbo Fisher, James Franklin, Joe Brady
With additional comments on why Cristobal would be a bad choice.
I'm sure that at least one name on this list is somewhere on everyone's list of preferred possibilities. Whatever you think of this particular list, the writer offers some interesting thoughts on each one. The article is worth a read.

Kiffin is a terrible fit. He will stay at LSU for 3 years and then leave and not play defense there too.
