Thoughts on Tee Martin as LSU OC.

Good recruiter. O knows him. Learned under Kiffin.
His Offense at USC improved every year. It plummeted after he left.
EDIT: Apparently the NCAA stats page isn't labeled with the correct year. So Tee's offense did plummet in his last year.

Their points per game and total offense both got better after Martin left
Edit:

According to CFB Stats, your numbers are off.
2018: (Martin)
Total yards-4591

6777 yards in 2018 (his last year)
4591 yards in 2019.
They went from 13th offence to 83rd.
They went from 55 Tds to 35 tds.

The only possible reason to suggest Martin as OC, is due to name recognition. He had his shot at USC and maybe was over promoted at the time. Great recruiter that would be a position coach for LSU, not OC. No way.

We kick the same 4 names around everytime we have an offensive opening

Don’t know where you’re getting your numbers.

So that’s the 2017 season (last updated, Jan 21, 2018 for games through Jan. 8, 2018). Looks like he had them rolling in 2017 and then they plummeted in 2018.

Look at my other post. I replied to myself instead of you.

Much rather have their current OC. Tee Martin was a failure as OC at usc. Talent out the arse to work with too.
Good with him as WR and pgc though but would much prefer a young NFL mind if we went with Calloway as OC.

Martin's Last Season at USC:
vs Stanford - 3 pts
vs Texas - 14 pts
vs Cal - 14 pts
vs ND - 17 pts
Can we please never mention Martin as OC ever again (unless it's for Auburn)

Apparently so. But I can't help that their years aren't labeled correctly.

I mean they are labeled correctly, they say right there the dates that the stats cover

We need a young innovative OC that knows how to create mismatches for our receivers. I've never been impressed with T as an OC.
