Why should he be? He's put in awful situations by the type of offense we run.

Bring in the best line coach on the planet and it won't matter due to the "offense" we run

The blocking for the first half of the year was outstanding.

His HC put him in the position he's in now. Coming off 3 poorly blocked games, because of the higher level of teams in ALA, ARK and OM and the fact that they keyed on LF.

As bad as this sounds, LF7 is one of the greatest things to happen to LSU and one of the worst things to happen to Les Miles.

Les Miles finally got his true blue bell cow and he doesn't want to not give it to him 80% of the time.

He better change the offense top to bottom or switch a Navy-style two back set with Guice and LF or next year will be worse than this year. Because every defense will make BH beat them.

football is irrelevant at LSU now, so Grimes doesn't matter. Ideally, Les would leave and take Grimes with him.

It all depends on what style offense you go to if a change is made. Grimes didn't like trying to coach the pull blocking schemes in Malzahn's offense, he likes to teach guys to just beat down the man in front of them. So if you go to a spread offense with pulling guards and stacked sides then you might want to consider a change, if the offense still uses one on ones on the front then he is a good coach.

Pocic shouldn't be a center and should be moved to ot.

He gets leveraged on almost every play.

He has righted the ship when it comes to O Line recruiting, which Stud let fall off the edge of the world. We need to give him a chance to coach and play these young guys. That should really starts next year with Alexander and Hawkins likely both gone.

If Pocic stays and can be moved back to guard, or even to tackle, we should have a much more stable line next season. When you start more than one freshman and have to shuffle the decks with everyone else, you should pretty much expect erratic results.
