Have an upvote. This is exactly like the crybabies who didn't get their way when Trump was elected. It's insanity. I've never seen grown men act like such babies.

This melt is caused by years of frustration around our offense and QB play. We had what we thought was the answer with Matt Canada, but for whatever reason it did not work out. We cut bait, and that’s fine, but we were also told that we would always go after top coordinators. If we don’t go out and get a solid OC and instead promote Ensminger, that is really just pouring salt in our wounds.

Honestly, it’s a terrible career move for Orgeron. He is attaching his future to Ensminger’s performance. If he went out and got a top OC the fans liked and that OC did not work, he would have a little breathing room because he did what he said he’d do and what everyone wanted. Now, if Ensminger fails, there is no one to blame but Orgeron.

And its not like Ensminger has some awesome resume for an OC. He wasn’t a very good one and Sullivan was worse.

Oh I understand where the frustration is coming from I do.
I got roasted years back when I didn't like the Cam Cameron hire. He put up good numbers with Brees and Rivers as his QB's!! They make anybody look good....but I digress.
I still didn't lose my shite over it....this is on another level to the likes of which I have never seen on here. And I have been on here since 2007.

You make a good point about the melt. Are people jumping to conclusions? Probably. But, as a fan base, people are tired of being lied to. We spend a lot of time, energy, and money on LSU athletics. There's a vested interest here. I think it's perfectly reasonable for people to vent their frustrations on an anonymous message board.

Is SE as OC a certainty (as in a statement has been released and I missed it), or still just rumor and speculation?
