When i say no one "botched" the search...i was referring to the results that the Miles hire brought.

petrino and JDR being teases in teh coaching search kind of makes it harder, in retrospect, to swallow (even with JDR being a complete question mark in reality)
and as for the whole "petrino would bring a shitty DC" argument, miles wanted to bring his shitty DC from OSU, too
those in power had to step in and make him hire bo p and retain jimbo (which did lead to dramer)
