You can already tell the difference. No elite technical coach wanted to come work for Ed O which is why he was often forced to settle for young and unproven coaches (aside from his no-interview hire of Bo Pelini.

Recruits should be really excited about this coaching staff bc they all have a hostory of coaching and developing talent. BK showing CEO mentality and bringing on an elite staff.

Agreed. Great mix of recruiting, development, and schematic talent

They’ve already proven to be. Hell Brennan and Boutte were probably the two biggest guys we needed for 2022 and they’re obviously sold on what CBK wants to do on offense, not to mention Miles Frazier who immediately shows OL will be a priority and strength again, finally.

I can see the lack of enthusiasm for a hire like Denbrock as opposed to the excitement generated by the hires on defense, but I’m firmly in the trust CBK camp and believe he’ll be quick to move on if Denbrock can’t provide the support for the offense that will mostly be Kelly’s baby anyway.

And having a dedicated QB coach in Sloan is important imo, not to mention the North LA recruiting boost he brings.

Like OP says, this a grown up staff, assembled and run by a professional. Exactly what this program needs right now.

So, I’ll start 2022 in the same mindset that 2021 ended.....

Plays were there last night. How many times did the QB over throw his man, the OL not block?

Maybe or maybe not. I know it's fun to talk about but why to people feel the need to make validation statements on something that can't be validating for a year.

I’m all in.

I think Kelly is putting together the best staff in the country.

Next season will be a slight rebuild

But we will immediately see the difference coaching makes on the field.

Happy New Year!

Since Coach O is now gone, world hunger is on it’s way to being resolved. Global warming is slowing down and politicians are now being truthful. Why didn’t we realize “O” has been a Scrooge on the world much earlier.

Well he was a Scrooge on hiring competent coordinators and that's all that matters around here.

What the hell kind of take is this anyways?

Agreed. I know Bama pushed their shite in, but there were scoring plays that they just failed to execute. I’m not down on the OC for that.

Very business-like staff. Not full of a bunch of sycophants, buddies, or just plain unqualified people.

It’s been difficult to wait for CBK to fill out the staff but the news this week has been encouraging.
