Y'all are getting your hopes up about Herman.. We are obviously going after Jimbo hard. We only get Herman if the Jimbo deals fall through AND Texas doesn't offer him...

Only reason info on Jimbo is leaking is to keep pressure off Herman. You don't think people realize that "insiders" come running to the media/boards every time they progress an inch?
Next update we get will say Jimbo is 85% going to sign the contract.

Why would Alleva take the risk on hiring a guy that would possibly jump to Texas at the first opportunity if it is his "dream job" like most are claiming. Wouldn't you think Alleva would go after the guy who is more proven that clearly wants to coach LSU? (Which is Jimbo's dream job)

So people are sacrificing their reputations to throw off... the general public...? about who LSU is actually pursing?

If we land Jimbo, it won't be because of the money. FSU will most likely match any offer we throw at him. If I'm wrong, I won't be mad at all to get Herman. I just realistically don't see it happening like ya'll are claiming.
