While I agree that everyone has been overreacting, it is concerning to see Florida and USC make hires out of our back yard and who we were reportedly after, respectively.
I thought Riley was a home run hire, but I think Aranda and Kelly would be great, too. The baseball hire was just as odd as this one, and they went with what seems like a hire energy, young coach with great potential. Matt Campbell and PJ Fleck kinda fit that mold, too.

Aranda was the early favorite. Also freeze, kiffin,urban, etc. they’re all still out there.
I say we get Aranda and tack on a late fg every time we play Riley. Seriously he has out coached Riley both years in the big12, and already has the SEC experience.
