People melted when we didn’t get Herman. It worked out.

I guess 2019 didn’t happen. Herman is fired. So freaking stupid.

Because the ingredients for lasting success got put in place by the one great hire we made in the last 20 years- Nick Saban.

You do realize 2019 was lightning in a bottle right? You have way to much faith in O.

What we’ve learned is that almost any monkey in a space suit can win games at LSU.
Curley Hallman basically put your theory to test, and proved you wrong.

Louisiana is certainly a talent rich state, but you're taking recruiting for granted. Even now, we struggle to keep La. kids out of Saban's grasp. 30 years ago LSU could hardly recruit New Orleans, and even now there are certain schools that will cock-block LSU when they have a top recruit. It's not a given - we've been lucky to have Miles' and O's recruiting skills.

Wait so you think lightening in a bottle is the goal? That’s the aim of successful stable programs? That’s what LSU should be content with?

No, its not the goal. But, if it happens it happens. I'd rather have that, then not. And if we where to win another title in 2-3 years, is that really lightning in a bottle if we just won in 2019? I wouldn't think so.

Who else has captured lightening in a bottle like O did in 2019?
I’ll wait.

And it’s “too”.
